Lying in the heart of an adventure tourism mecca, Fairview River Lodge has a lot
to offer to the more outdoor inclined.

Golf:
Playing the nine-hole mashie golf course, driving the quad bikes, taking a
stroll along the river embankment, fly-fishing for Yellow Fish or Bass,
bird watching or just soaking up the sun at our glimmering swimming pool,
are all activities that could be enjoyed.

Quad bikes:
Hire the quad bikes and accompanied by a guide, take the trail on the
embankments of the Letaba River, where the dense foliage, and indigenous
bird life and vegetation can be enjoyed.

Fly-fishing:
Try your luck in the quiet rocky pools in the Letaba River, for Yellow fish, Bass
and Barbell. Bring your own equipment. Permits can be arranged through

Bird watching:
The large trees and luscious foliage is the ideal habitat for an abundance of
birdlife. Cape Parrot, Black fronted Bush shrike, Yellow streaked Bulbul,
Orange Thrush, Buff spotted Fluff tail, Rameron Pigeon, Tambourine
Dove, Cinnamon Dove, Black Cuckoo, Narina Trogon, Olive woodpecker,
Grey Cuckoo shrike and Green Twin spot, Fish Eagle, Blue Heron,
Blacksmith Plowder, Egyptian spotted geese and more has already been
spotted in the area from the Lodge and the River embankments
